Industrial Sourcing & Procurement BC · Canada

From Manufacturing to Sourcing. Proven across decades.

Founder-led 25+ Years Experience Global Supplier Network

MAT Incorporated is a Canadian industrial sourcing specialist. Built on more than two decades of hands-on manufacturing and procurement experience, we source precision parts, custom components, and industrial equipment for commercial, institutional, and government clients — from a vetted network of manufacturing partners across North America, Europe, and Asia.

The view from the floor.

For five years we ran our own CNC line. The discipline of making the part — reading the print, choosing the tool path, holding the tolerance, inspecting the result — is what we now bring to every sourcing engagement. From raw billet to finished part, in service.

What we do
for our clients.

We solve sourcing problems end-to-end — from specification review through delivered-to-dock — handled by people who used to make the parts themselves.

01 · Sourcing
Industrial Product Sourcing

We identify, qualify, and engage manufacturers across North America, Europe, and Asia to produce parts and equipment to your specifications. Every supplier is vetted against your cost, quality, and compliance requirements before we present an option.

Precision parts Custom components OEM hardware
02 · Manufacturing Coordination
Custom Production via Partner Network

Custom metal fabrication, CNC machining, sheet metal work, and precision tooling — produced through our qualified manufacturing partners. We manage the specs, drawings, QC, and delivery so the finished part shows up ready to install.

03 · Procurement
Procurement & Tender Response

For clients responding to tenders or needing complex multi-line procurement support, we handle supplier identification, quoting, documentation, and submission coordination. Our experience spans federal supply contracts, enterprise buyers, and institutional orders.

04 · Logistics
Logistics & Delivered-to-Dock

Consolidated container shipping, customs clearance, storage where required, and on-schedule delivery to your site. We handle the complexity of moving goods across borders so you don't have to track bills of lading across time zones.

Cross-border freight Consolidation Storage

The difference is operator knowledge.

Three things our clients tell us they cannot find anywhere else.

Difference 01
We catch spec errors before you do.

Our founder spent years making parts. That means we read drawings the way a machinist reads them — spotting tolerances that won't manufacture economically, callouts that will confuse a foreign supplier, or materials that won't survive your application.

Difference 02
Our supplier network is real.

Relationships built over decades of industry work — not a rolodex bought from a directory. Our manufacturing partners know us, and we know their shops, capabilities, and real lead times. That's how we commit to dates we can actually meet.

Difference 03
We're built for small to mid orders.

Large prime contractors won't touch your $50K order. Big importers want six-figure minimums. MAT is built to engage seriously with orders from $5K to $500K+ — sized right for SMEs, municipal buyers, and institutional procurement that falls below enterprise thresholds.

A disciplined five-step delivery model.

From first conversation through final shipment — with visibility and documentation at every stage.

01
Project Brief

We listen first. Specs, quantities, compliance needs, timelines, and budget — documented before we commit.

02
Sourcing Strategy

We identify the right suppliers from our qualified network, matched to your specs, budget, and required certifications.

03
Quote & Samples

Drawings reviewed, prototypes produced where needed, and formal quotes locked in. No surprises once production begins.

04
Production & QC

Manufacturing proceeds under agreed protocols. In-process checks and pre-shipment inspection ensure every unit meets specification.

05
Logistics & Delivery

Consolidated shipping, customs clearance, documentation, and on-schedule delivery to your dock.

The full story.

MAT Incorporated was founded in 2017 in British Columbia, anchored on more than two decades of the founder's hands-on industry experience. From 2018 through 2023 we operated our own CNC manufacturing facility — building precision parts and custom components for industrial clients. In 2023 we sold the facility and pivoted entirely to what we now do best: industrial sourcing and procurement.

The shift from manufacturer to sourcing specialist wasn't a downgrade. It was a focus. Our years on the factory floor taught us something most procurement firms never learn: how to actually buy parts well. We learned which questions to ask of suppliers. Which quotes are too cheap to be real. Which spec callouts will cause a part to fail in service. Which lead times are realistic and which are wishful thinking.

Today, MAT is a deliberately lean operation backed by a qualified supplier network developed over more than two decades — across the United States, Canada, Germany, and Asia. We are Canadian-owned and headquartered in British Columbia.

We don't try to be everything to everyone. We take on projects where we can deliver — and we say no to the rest. That discipline is what allows us to keep our quality and reliability consistent as we grow.
